Pharmacies that “matter” have successfully become the obvious choice in their communities, and especially in the hearts and minds of their patients. They elevate themselves by consistently finding ways to solve the most pressing health needs their patients face, the results? They create more value year after year and build a sustainable differentiated presence in the market place.
Is what you’re doing as a Pharmacy Owner really making a difference to your target audience? What about your team? Is what they are doing really making a difference? Or are you just doing the same thing every other pharmacy does? Including chains, big box pharmacies and other independent pharmacies?
You have so many ways to matter. How about:
Yes, you can have solutions, new ones that can make a very big difference.
You have important information for those who suffer from chronic diseases’. But how well do they know about you and your healing protocols for those chronic maladies?
Even if you are the most knowledgeable pharmacist, even if you are a board certified nutritionist, in today’s challenging market place getting known for your expertise remains an extremely challenging situation.
Allowing that situation to persist, can destroy your future and the destiny that you may want to leave. Do not allow such a situation to persist.
Why Marketing Matters
That’s why marketing matters so much. That’s why marketing must be part of your total information system.
Every pharmacy has something that differentiates itself from its competition— or it should have!
Everything that you do should emphasize what’s different— and superior— about your and your pharmacy. And with every chance you get. When you bring that particular superiority to the marketplace through your advertising and other forms of marketing, you scintillate. More and more patients flock to you because they discover you have solutions—solutions they cannot get elsewhere—to their chronic aches, pains, and other discomforts. Your solutions are different because they are based on herbal medicines not traditionally found in other pharmacies. The qualities you present are not even found in most other independent pharmacies. That’s why you become special.
The Bigger the Difference, the Stronger the Magnetic Attraction
Eventually, everything about your pharmacy should be different and superior. Your products and their values, your services in every way, form, and manner— even the appearance of your pharmacy.
Give your potential patients the answers to the questions they have and you'll own your market. When you can help someone who has arthritis with a topical analgesic that blocks pain like Lidocaine or Novocain, then you can become a hero. Especially when it may substitute for a product that has side effects, and yours does not. In such a way you’re influence large numbers of people and when you help them get rid of the causes of their asthma then you stand alone in your community.
And so you can matter as you have never mattered before.
